Abstrakt:
Článek pojednává o analýze psychologických profilů účastníků praktikujících New Age hnutí a jiné nepersonifikované alternativní víry. Cílem výzkumu je identifikace určitých psychologických rysů respondentů. K výzkumu autor používá psychologickou metodu Pětifaktorový osobnostní dotazník Mccrae-Costa nebo velká pětka v adaptaci A. Chromova. Ve výběrovém souboru je 27 dotazovaných účastníků ženského a mužského pohlaví s běloruskou, ukrajinskou a ruskou státní příslušností. Průměrný věk účastníků je 29,5 roku. Kvantitativní výzkum probíhal v letech 2022–2023 a byl realizován způsobem elektronického sběru dat prostřednictvím Google Forms. Na základě statistické analýzy došel autor článku ke zjištění, že všech 27 účastníků studie má nízkou úroveň faktorů neuroticismu a extroverze. Výsledky provedeného výzkumu mohou být užitečné klinickým psychologům zaměřeným na oblast náboženství nebo religionistům. Výsledky mohou využít také pracovníci center při práci s mladistvými, kteří se zajímají o New Age, ale nehlásí se k žádnému náboženství. Psychologové mohou využít získané výsledky v rámci psychologického výcviku nebo při psychodramatu ke zkoumání emočního chování klientů.

Abstract:
This article deals with the analysis of psychological profiles of participants practicing the New Age movement and other non-personified alternative beliefs. The aim of the research is to identify certain psychological traits of the respondents. For the research the author uses the psychological method of the Five-Factor Personality Questionnaire Mccrae-Costa or the Big Five in adaptation A. Chromov. The sample consists of 27 female and male respondents with Belarusian, Ukrainian and Russian nationalities. The average age of the participants is 29.5 years. The quantitative research was conducted between 2022 and 2023 and was carried out in the manner of electronic data collection through Google Forms. Based on the statistical analysis, the author of the article came to the conclusion that all 27 participants of the study have low levels of neuroticism and extroversion factors. The results of the conducted research may be useful to clinical psychologists specializing in the field of religion or religious studies. The results can also be used by centre staff when working with adolescents who are interested in New Age but do not subscribe to any religion. Psychologists can use the results in psychological training or psychodrama to examine the emotional behaviour of clients.
