Indifference

[vc_row thb_divider_position=»bottom»][vc_column][vc_column_text]The psychological view of an indifference phenomenon in the XI century is presented in this article. The analysis of the points of view and comments of experts on this perspective is provided. The author of article formulates the main groups of the causes of indifference and provides some recommendations for readers and parents.

On pages of one of remarkable books of F. Nietzsche «Zarathustra so spoke» it is written that as a rule kill not with anger or laughter, but indifference. Now development of the modern world and technologies, cultivate philosophy of identity, uniqueness or independence in society. You can call it as want, you the Personality also have the right to it, isn’t that so? The nature of a phenomenon of indifference has the different background. It can have the congenital character which is expressed in fundamental components of the personality, and can be simply acquired and temporary quality. As an illustration the post-traumatic syndrome, a long depression and other can serve. These are those circumstances under which the organism is independently protected from hostile environment of the world around.
The concept of indifference or indifference is treated in different books approximately equally. Referring to the small encyclopedic dictionary under Brockhaus and Efron’s edition we read: «indifference is a state in which the person does not show to anything interest. Accompanying — apathy, callousness, callousness.» In turn, representatives of the American psychology formulate a concept of indifference as apathy, loss of interest in what once was significant and important. The person simply loses an active position in relation to life.
(«sychology argues that this stateakin to apathy. It is characterized by a loss of interest in what was once significant and important, bringing joy. A person loses an active position in relation to life.»)
The designated point of view rather obviously indicates set of the available problems or strong fatigue that caused loss of steady interest. In this case, indifference acts only as protective reaction of an organism. In this respect L. Petranovskaya writes:
«if indifference is shown concerning work or any other activity, then time to distract from a routine or to consider alternative options can be required.»
The Czech family psychologist of D. Vaněk speaks about indifference through a prism of family therapy and refers to a concept of «feeling to needs of the neighbor» («Manželství je vztah dvou lidí, který aby fungoval, musí sytit potřeby obou partner ů.») It once again illustrates all versatility of the studied phenomenon.
Proceeding from own psychological practice and the analysis of material, the following structure of the reasons of loneliness is built:
1) Biological (congenital);
2) Family and education;
3) Physiological (acquired);
4) Situational reasons;

The biological or congenital reasons are meant as the personal traits of character, peculiar, for example to the phlegmatic person.
The family and features of education play one of the main roles. By data to statistics, most of indifferent people in the childhood did not receive in addition maternal love and attention. Often parents instead of asking the child on what he feels and endures, not only do not pay attention to it, but also learn not to broadcast the feelings, especially when in a family the boy grows up. Thus, parents cultivate development of an aleksitimiya. (inability of the person to call the emotions experienced by him or other people i.e. to transfer them to the verbal plan)
Under the physiological reasons a serious illness, depressions and disability disappear. It does the person emotionally squeezed out and indifferent to experiences.
The situational group assumes such events in human life which completely change its feelings. (take-off on a career ladder, inheritance, favorable marriage)
It is necessary to consider that circumstance that indifference often goes near egoism and rationalism, self-confidence and self-admiration. Pathological emphasis on own problems or progress that can very often be observed on popular social networks, is peculiar to the person who is in a position of the victim.
Leveling all surrounding problems, the person only waits for support, pity or simple like.
The American poet Richard Eberkhart, and later the Polish writer Bruno Yasensky shot in 1938 in the novel «Plot of Indifferent» wrote: «Be not afraid of the friends — at worst they can betray you, be not afraid of the enemies — at worst they can kill you, be afraid indifferent — only from their acquiescence happen on Earth of treachery and murder.»
So, the results of written will be summed up by recommendations which will be interesting both to the young parents who are bringing up the child, and interested, and the looking for readers.
To grow up not indifferent person, it is necessary for parents:
To talk to the child regarding indifference in life;
To argue in common how it is possible to show compassion, to give help;
Having analysed interests of the child, parents can help to be engaged in search of favourite business or hobby, under a condition if it is absent;
In turn, the psychologist L. Petranovskaya said that ability of sympathy can consciously be cultivated. «That heart did not become an indifferent, classical example of such improvement the help is poor or sick»
It is obvious that nobody forbids to shelter a homeless animal that in a consequence will become one of the best examples of education of kindness, responsibility and sympathy at the child.
I. L. Knabengof somehow wrote:
Others pain — a mongrel dirty,
Do not touch the child, and suddenly infectious!
Do not iron! You will soil palms.
What for? Go other path.
And the child grows up, knowing:
It is so simpler to live, without noticing.
Why to drag others burden,
To divide a trouble? Thought up too!
Sort itself, not to me it is painful,
From me the problems are enough!
And yes further, to live in rest.
To divide everything into the and into others.
Others pain in an emphasis is not noticed,
Having forgotten one …
Bezdushye is not forgiven!

To check indifference existence, you will be helped by the Toronto scale of an aleksitimiya (TAS).
This test is adapted at institute of V. M. Bekhterev and you with ease will be able to find it on Internet open spaces.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
